A few months ago I shared my newest development project, a smartphone app to connect interested users to the people who make the things they own, using the magic of power law distributions and statistics.
I found out that my poster proposal was accepted by the conference! This will make the 2014 Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing my 7th year presenting and live-blogging Hopper. It is always an inspiring and enlivening experience, and I look forward to going to Phoenix, where I have family-in-law to visit.
