These are all photos I took while visiting Cairo last April. Egypt, we are all praying for your safe delivery from the current violence.
My family sat and stood and drove and ate where men and women are being beaten with sticks by their own police. My heart feels like it is breaking for my friends in the region. It digs at me to read the news, but when I find something like this (a recording by a British reporter from inside a Egyptian police truck, in the middle of the desert) I shovel on.
