“An Die Musik” Videos Provide Glimpses into the Lives of Opera-Lovers

Today I was making another YouTube playlist–this time for Schubert’s superlative “An Die Musik.” This piece is a kind of theme-song for musicians. Simple and melodic, it is a thank-you to music itself. It’s place in the community of classical music lovers became clear when I began collecting all of the recordings of it on YouTube.
