The first three are from around campus, the next three are of cute-and-fuzzies of variations states of animation, and the last are the result of my taking pictures of myself on the terrace of the Museum of Islamic Art.
While I was having fun playing with my camera and taking pictures of myself looking out onto the Doha Bay, quite a few confused tourists offered to take my photo. As far as I could tell, they saw me and assumed I was so destitute of friends I was trying to take my vacation-documentation photos by myself. Rather than explain I was advancing playing with a particular portraite-style, (that is, the “long-arm” or “myspace arm“) I smiled and thanked for taking my photo.
I then went back to taking pictures of myself.
