DC’s weather has been so weird this week. Thunder and lightning this morning, hot and windy this evening, cool tonight. Sinead Toolis Byrd’s Little Dead Girls comic sums it up nicely. Little Dead Girls is such a nice look into a life–I enjoy every panel I read (I’m not biased at all).
President spotting: I am pretty sure I saw Barack Obama’s motorcade yesterday. I was walking to the Metro after work with a free baguette (thank goodness for grand-openings) and a policeman started directing traffic. A few minutes later, a whole bunch of police motorcycles drove by, each waving at the slowly gathering crowd. Then 3 big trucks curved past, one covered with fat, black antennae. I didn’t see him, but who else would have that crazy entourage?
