What made this trip successful

-Students from both campuses had questions and answers

-We were given time to reflect and decompress as a group and alone

-Our hosts made a point of adopting us

-We were psychologically prepared to be open-minded and chill, which I believe were two of the most important qualities common in our group

-We were all easy-going but professional, and not strident about changes in schedule, issues with food, or mild cultural kerfluffles

-We had activities which allowed everyone to shine–talking, playing, listening, writing, observing, walking
