Original Inspiration for my Posner Internship Project

I was recently selected to be an Intern at the Posner Center at CMU. My project is called: Posner Poetry and Prose Project. Here is a post I thought you’d find interesting from the project’s new website:

I wanted to post the two YouTube videos which inspired this project.

The first is a reading of “The Cremation of Sam McGee”. My family spent weeks sending this one around and blogging about it.

There are not many readings like these on YouTube and I believe this is an opportunity to novelly present literature to a global audience. Whether they are students with ADD/ADHD or Dyslexia who would like to hear their assignments rather than read them, or the countless adults who listen in to Garrison Keillor’s morning poetry readings, the Posner Center’s collection can help and enrich the lives of people all over the world through YouTube Readings.
