Extra photos for front-page Seattle Times piece

Matthew and my apartment in Seattle is front page news today in the Seattle Times. There are 2 articles–one with Matthew’s picture and one that’s a profile of us and our housing choices. The online article linked to my blog, so, welcome new readers!

Here are some photos of the sillier parts of our house in Seattle, which the reporter (probably sensibly) did not put in the paper:

Our wall decorations:

Then the first one, at some crazy/quirky angle…

Now they’re all there, floating like the shower is underwater…

Yes, that is _Snuff_ by Terry Pratchett sitting in our bathroom reading basket.

And our wall-vinyls:

The other is a 5-foot-wide world map spread across the 3 sliding doors which make up the street-facing wall of our bedroom. It’s awesome looking in its original shape, but because the doors slide, we can rearrange the continents whenever we choose:

And like the article says, we’re a bi-coastal relationship, so I’m writing this post from SEA-TAC waiting for my flight to Phoenix and then on to DC. I just saw someone reading today’s paper here!

Someone reading the article!
