I’m Polaris Project’s Online Outreach Specialist. Hooray!

Working for Polaris, writing for them and working to end modern day slavery was my dream job and I am starting this Wednesday. I did a fellowship with them two summers ago and have kept in shy contact every since and love the organization and the work. And did I mention I’m getting paid to write every day?

I’m feeling a strange mix of emotions. About the job, I feel this:

Thinking about walking into Polaris’s offices as an employee in DuPont Circle on Wednesday I feel this:

Thinking about what I means that I’m getting to run the social media for a national non-profit, I’m feeling a mix of:

But mostly, I’m deeply humbled and fiercely excited to get my work on.
