It was such a big day full of so many big things, so I’ll just share three pictures:

My friend Izzy and I in line–as fellow 5th years, we’ve kept each other company this semester but we first met when he helped me pick a fight with our World History professor over his use of Turnitin.com back in my first semester at Carnegie Mellon:
Finally, but not least, I carried my grandfather’s 1948 class medallion with me for my entire graduation day. He didn’t graduate from CMU–he went here for a few years during his time at West Point to get additional training–but he was here when I walked last year and he is no longer.
That’s it on graduation for now. I’m too excited for my next steps to have fully processed what it means to no longer be on a campus but have my entire life to learn.
