I would like to point out that, of the two major events I’ve run in the past 3 days, both have involved beautiful threads:
In the summer internship application workshop, I used some artisan thread, spiraled up 4 stories of stairs, with internship descriptions. In the IMPAQT recruitment/educational Late Night event, I taught fellow students to weave on hand-made block looms. More on the communal nature of spinning circles in a moment.
