I’ll admit it: at the end of the week, when my brain is creaking-full of classwork, I look at silly pictures because they take so little thought, they let me slow my thinking for a while. Most they are pictures of people ruining photos or jury-rigged fixes. But every now and then, I find a photo collection that makes me think in different ways–maybe not deep thoughts, but certainly deeper than squee! cute kitty! Picture is Unrelated is part of icanhascheezeburger‘s harem of funny sites, and while it’s unifying theme is weak, it has a few older and more stylized photos which are, to me, oddly elegant gems*:

My favorite is the Blowing Chicken. I frankly found the Puppet one disturbing. But I LOVE the idea of strange photographs. Good post!
