Twilight Mad-Libs in Arabic (‎في اللغة عربية ‎ماد ليبز)

Last night, to prep for an assignment to teach part of my Arabic class, I made mad-libs about characters from Twilight. In Arabic. I envy the vocabulary of most 1st graders, so they are quite simple. It was strangely exciting to see how much narrative I could create with my semester-and-a-bit of Arabic.

[If you are reading this and I am a prominent diplomat or Supreme Court Justice, don’t hold my baby grammar against me. I’m sure you did silly things when you were 21 too.]

Enjoy the silly sentences!

Inspirational Quote:

“Before you, Bella, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars—points of light and reason… And then you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire; there was brilliancy, there was beauty. When you were gone, when the meteor had fallen over the horizon, everything went black. Nothing had changed, but my eyes were blinded by the light. I couldn’t see the stars anymore. And there was no more reason for anything.”–Edward Cullen, New Moon, Chapter 23, p.514

  1. Oh my gosh, I just started Arabic and was wondering if I could capitalize on my obsession with Twilight! I’ll totally use your mad libs! I literally just started my class, so it’ll be a little bit before I can play. Thanks!
