Remember This? Obama’s election celebrations give us hope for the new year

Why I am posting this now? With only a few days before winter solstice, I figured it is important to remember what good has come about this year, and prepare to do more good in the following year. If nothing else comes of President-Elect Obama’s presidency, that night of world-wide connections through celebration is a net-good.

Inspirational Quote:

When the flush of a new-born sun fell first on Eden’s green and gold,
Our father Adam sat under the Tree and scratched with a stick in the mould;
And the first rude sketch that the world had seen was joy to his mighty heart,
Till the Devil whispered behind the leaves, “It’s pretty, but is it Art?”
