Jesus Camps

This evening my roommates and dormmates watched Jesus Camp. It is about the modern tactics of the American evangelical movement. The lawyer in me knows it is right and legal that churches can preach against abortion and global warming. The babysitter in my wants to cry for the children who are made to cry in praise for Jesus. I am against any belief which makes babies cry. And in this movie, when a child falls out under the power or screams because they know they are sinners, the rest of the children and their parents rejoice. There is something so wrong it is hard for me to articulate it.

Inspirational quote:

It is by the fortune of God that, in this country, we have three benefits: freedom of speech, freedom of thought, and the wisdom never to use either.
Mark Twain

If there are no stupid questions, then what kind of questions do stupid people ask? Do they get smart just in time to ask questions?
